I wear many hats, and each one reflects my passions. I own The Smoky Mountain Cabins, two luxury vacation rentals nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Tennessee, where families and friends come together to relax and make memories. Back home in the Keys, I run Florida Keys Island Fishing with my husband, Captain Tony. As an avid female angler, I spend countless days on the water, chasing snapper, king mackerel, and more—sharing every adventure with my followers on social media.
I’m also the author of the middle-grade book series Mishaps in Paradise, a lighthearted island-themed journey inspired by real-life misadventures and tropical charm. When I’m not selling homes, reeling in a catch, or writing stories, you’ll find me decorating and styling spaces. Home decor is a true passion of mine, and I love creating serene, cozy environments and sharing design inspiration online.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Eva Polizze has been drawn to islands since she was a little kid. When she was fifteen, she attended a summer camp in Spain, where she fell in love with palm trees and warm climate regions for life.
When she was seventeen, she won first place in a national writing competition and was awarded a trip to Italy and a three-week vacation in Corsica. After that, she knew she would always be a writer and an island girl.
Over the years, she has traveled to many tropical places in the world, but her dream to live in the islands finally came true when she moved to the Florida Keys in 2014, a place she will always call home. Living on a small tropical island, surrounded by turquoise waters, jumping dolphins, and friendly Key deer, she writes about the island life in her books.
Eva Polizze is the author of the Mishaps in Paradise diaries, a middle school series about two sisters experiencing humorous misadventures on a tropical island. She has two daughters, Olivia and Claudia, who are her inspiration for the books.
